Scribble. Preschool Psychoanalytic Support Group
For children ages 5-7


The Scribble psychoanalytic support group for preschoolers focuses on kids' attitudes towards education and their relationships with teachers and other children. It features classes on letters, numerals, and notes, an origami workshop, and special playtime periods for joint activities involving both children and psychoanalysts. The project includes regular psychological sessions for parents to discuss a variety of issues - from child's behavior to family relationships to choice of elementary school.
The course is run by highly experienced instructors.

Characteristics of a square. Different ways to cut out squares from irregular-shaped pieces of paper. 

Numbers 

Goats and stakes: what area of a meadow would be eaten by a goat tied to a stake? …two stakes? Can we keep the goat in one place? Can we make it eat out a ring, not a circle?

Notes

Sound effects in theater. Use of wind machines, rain machines, and other special effects.

Explanation and comprehension. Children orally instruct blindfolded classmates to fold paper. Significance of visual perception.

Letters

Word accent. Identical words with different accents (“DEsert” and “deSERT”). Accent in poetry.

Alexander Bronnikov, Olga Zaytseva, Yulia Akhtyamova, Asya Vlasik - psychologists, psychoanalysts; alumni of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (Consulting and Clinical Psychology department); members of the international psychoanalytical association Le Champ Freudien; currently involved in post-graduate studies at European School of Psychoanalysis (EEP) and taking regular internships at psychoanalytical institutions in France and Belgium.

Gleb Napreenko - art critic and art historian; graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in Mechanics and Mathematics; currently earning a History degree at MSU.

Dmitry Vlasik - musician, composer, performer of contemporary music; alumnus of Moscow Conservatory.
