The public program will help to form a better understanding of artists whose practices and aesthetic systems were inspired by various religious, mystical, and philosophical movements of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Russian and international researchers, art critics, and curators encourage the audience to explore the socio-cultural situation at the turn of the twentieth century and will discuss a wave of interest in esoteric research and the “extraterrestrial” space in relation to current exhibition experience.
On offer for the visitors are talks, discussions, a round table, guided tours and a live performance by George Gurdjieff Ensemble of Folk Instruments.
The exhibition is accompanied by a booklet in Russian and English with detailed information about the project.
The public program’s schedule will be updated.
