Group conversations in sign language with Garage guide and workshops for hard of hearing kids and creative adults
Garage Museum of Contemporary Art invites hard of hearing and deaf visitors to take part in group discussions of Köken Ergun’s Young Turks in Russian Sign Language.
The public program for Köken Ergun’s Young Turks includes discussions in sign language every two weeks , which take place in the exhibition space on Saturdays. During the discussions, Garage guides will tell the visitors about the artist and exhibition and discuss the issues raised by the project.
One-Work Talk discussions in sign language are an opportunity to try and find out what you’ve always wanted to know about contemporary art.
Open workshops exploring the cultures of various ethnic groups populating Russia, taking place at the same time as One-Work Talk discussions, will also be available in sign language.
The workshops are open to both hearing and deaf (or hard of hearing) kids ages 5 and older, and creative adults.
