DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to invite GARAGE Premium cardholders, Art Lovers’ Circle and Garage Club members to enjoy the concert by the talented young composer and pianist Kirill Richter. Guests will also have a chance to visit Takashi Murakami's exhibition Under the Radiation Falls, the first major survey of the Japanese artist's work in Russia, in a private atmosphere after Museum closes.

Since his first performance in the Pillar Hall of the House of the Unions Kirill Richter has become known as one of the best representatives of Russian neoclassic. He has written several plays and soundtracks, takes part in different concerts, and is not afraid of experimenting with musical instruments.

Takashi Murakami's exhibition Under the Radiation Falls, which has already been seen by more than 50,000 visitors, presents the diversity of the artist’s work—from paintings to full-length movies. The exhibition also includes traditional Japanese engravings and paintings from the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow, various artifacts from Murakami's studio, and photographs and examples of manga from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.

Garage Bookshop—a place to find limited edition of specially designed clothing and accessories—will be open till midnight too.
