Garage Night. Exhibition viewing until midnight and a party on the rooftop for GARAGE сardholders

DESCRIPTION

Garage Museum of Contemporary Art invites GARAGE Cardholders to a special event on August 24. The program includes a live performance by Pyotr Vostokov’s music ensemble in the rooftop pavilion, with the exhibition The Coming World open until midnight.

The Coming World: Ecology as the New Politics 2030–2100 is a major exhibition embracing historical and new works by over 50 Russian and international artists. The project looks at the future, or, rather, a future already in the making, when the environmental agenda will become one of the main political questions.

During Garage Night, the Museum’s guides will show guests around the exhibition The Coming World. Visitors are also invited to join in a social experiment suggested by American artist Doug Aitken—by doing whatever they wish to his installation The Garden. Garage’s rooftop pavilion will host a live concert by Pyotr Vostokov’s band and a DJ set by Ksyusha Obukhovskaya.
