The Ship of Tolerance, an acclaimed art project by Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, will be unveiled near Pionersky Pond in the Gorky Park at 2 pm. From July 13 to August 25 Garage had held a series of Open Workshops during which over 300 Moscow schoolchildren created their individual painted sails that eventually were stitched together to complete the installation's large composite sail.

The unveiling of The Ship of Tolerance in the Gorky Park marks the project's pinnacle, as all participants will gather around the artwork on September 7, Moscow City Day. The project's author Ilya Kabakov will speak to the audience before the solemn opening ceremony.
