From June to September 2019, Garage is running free guided tours for blind and partially sighted visitors around the Museum’s buildings in Gorky Park. Participants will receive an introduction to the history of twentieth-century Russian and Soviet architecture and the history of the park, while also learning about selected contemporary architectural movements.
The tours are adapted for partially sighted and blind visitors. Group members will have access to tactile reliefs of buildings and will also have the opportunity for direct contact with some architectural elements of the structures.
The tour has been developed by specialists from the Museum’s Inclusive Programs department.
