CHEMISTRY IN ART

OCTOBER 25–26, 2014

Chemistry and art are usually seen as opposites: art is considered creative, expressive, and fluid, while chemistry is deemed analytical, precise, and staid. However, the two have many factors in common, and this year, the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, has chosen to celebrate the connection by organizing a series of activities and events on this theme.

In collaboration with Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, the Royal Society of Chemistry is delighted to make its key activities accessible to the Russian public, and to further spread the understanding of the close links between chemistry and art, in a weekend event that will offer something for everyone.
