Limited edition GARAGE cards featuring designs by Urs Fischer

Date

24 MAY 2018

For its 10th anniversary, Garage unveils limited-edition membership cards designed by acclaimed Swiss artist Urs Fischer. The limited-edition cards will be available for all new Garage cardholders, as well as for those who choose to renew their membership in June 2018.

The cards feature the Museum’s logo re-designed by artist and Garage’s long-time friend Urs Fischer, whose first exhibition in Russia took place at Garage in 2016. Along with cards, the original designs, created for the anniversary, will be featured in the Museum’s building in Gorky Park and on anniversary souvenirs.

Membership cards, which come with one of the three designs by Fischer—featuring a balloon, a kitten or a palm three—give all the benefits of Garage’s membership program, including free priority admission to exhibitions and invitations to exhibition previews for one year after purchase. Members also get special prices on Mosaic Music and Garage Screen events and discounts on tours and education courses. The full list of benefits depends on the membership level.

Cards with the special anniversary design and a special cardholder will be available online and at Garage information desk. Clothes and souvenirs with other versions of the logo can be purchased at Garage Bookshop from June 7. Garage members get 10% off all purchases at the Bookshop.

Urs Fischer’s exhibition Small Axe took place at Garage in summer 2016. The show extended to Garage Square, where all visitors could become the artist’s collaborators by making clay sculptures for his YES project.
