Garage is happy to share some gift ideas for the New Year: tickets to exhibitions, individual tours, souvenirs designed in collaboration with the world’s biggest artists, GARAGE cards, and much more.

We offer a variety of programs and projects for visitors of all ages and any of our daily activities are available as a gift. All you need to do is choose the right one! This winter, we invite you to give the gift of knowledge and experience.

Our annual interactive project Art Experiment is a great place to start. This year, it is devoted to ecology and the ways in which our environment may be transformed by technological change. Art Experiment. Laboratories of Earthly Survival invites the visitor to become the creator. The project opens on December 19 and will run throughout the winter holidays.

In Art Experiment’s creative lab, visitors of any age can make their own art or collaborate with others at one of the workshops: learn about biohacking, find out how to turn old electric appliances into a tree or make an urban ikebana. For details of the full program and the times of workshops visit the Museum’s website. Gorky Park Ice Rink visitors get a discount for their ticket to Art Experiment. Don’t forget your skating receipt to get 20% off your entrance ticket.

Garage Bookshop offers a wide selection of exhibition catalogues, albums and books on classical and contemporary art, photography, fashion, design, and architecture from leading international publishers and Garage’s own publishing program. The latest releases include The Age of Theme Parks by Pavel Pepperstein, a Russian edition of Scope of Total Architecture by one of the Bauhaus pioneers Walter Gropius, and a treatise on our visual culture A History of Pictures: From the Cave to the Computer Screen by artist David Hockney and critic Martin Gayford.

We are proud to offer a wide range of souvenirs with Garage’s logo and special collections of merchandise produced for every big exhibition project. With the current New Year’s sale on, you can get 20% off tote bags, lighters, phone covers, tees, and crockery inspired by the art of Raymond Pettibon, Robert Longo, Viktor Pivovarov, Ugo Rondinone, and Louise Bourgeois.

Limited edition souvenirs from the GARAGE x MURAKAMI collection produced for Takashi Murakami’s exhibition Under the Radiation Falls are still available at our bookshop and online. Kaikai and Kiki, Mr. DOB, laughing flowers, and other characters from the artist’s vibrant universe will make a great gift for anyone who likes bright colours and original prints. If you are not sure what to choose, there’s always an option of buying a Bookshop gift certificate.

If you are looking for a gift that will last, take a look at Garage Membership. GARAGE card opens the door to a whole world of benefits, including free priority entry to exhibitions, discounts at Garage Café and Bookshop, invitations to special events, and access to the Members’ Pavilion on Garage Rooftop.
