Museum Guides Training Course for the Deaf. Module 3

Participants of the Museum Guides Training Course for the Deaf work on their Sign Language and presentation skills and with Aleksey Znamensky.

On May 15, 2017, Garage launched the third module of its Museum Guides Training Course for the Deaf. This module’s program was developed in collaboration with Aleksey Znamensky, an actor and director at the Nedoslov Theatre of deaf actors. Participants practice public speaking and acting and learn about various aspects of non-verbal communication. The module will help them develop their presentation skills, learn to feel the audience and connect to each visitor. 


Aleksey Znamensky is an actor and director at the Nedoslov Theatre of deaf actors. He graduated in theatre from the State Specialized Institute of Arts (Mikhail Semakov’s course) in 2006 and took part in VSA Arts Festival (USA) in 2003. In 2001, he featured in the film Dust by SVOI2000 creative association (dir. Sergey Loban). Znamensky graduated in directing from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (Igor Maslennikov’s studio) in 2012.
