Garage and S7 Airlines launch Russia as you’ve never seen it competition

Date

27 APR 2017

From April 27 to May 4, 2017, Garage and S7 Airlines are offering the chance to visit the first Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art.

In 2017, S7 Airlines became the official airline of the first Garage Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art, the show developed as a result of the largest-ever survey of art practice across Russia, in which six members of Garage team traveled to the eight districts of the country to meet with artists and ascertain the key ideas and urgencies that are relevant to Russian visual culture today. Presenting works made by sixty-eight artists from across the country, Garage Triennial captures the zeitgeist of some of the most active and influential creative figures of the past five years, offering insight into the diversity of social tendencies that constitute the underexplored Russian art scene.

As part of their collaboration, Garage and S7 Airlines have a great offer for all elite status tiers of S7’s Priority program—to join Garage’s loyalty program for free and become GARAGE cardholders (Individual +1 membership).  In addition, Garage and S7 Airlines have now launched a competition for all contemporary art lovers, the lucky winner of which will come and see the Triennial at Garage.

Taking part in Russia as you’ve never seen it contest is easy—register for the S7 Priority program, take a photo of the most interesting or unusual sight at the place where you live and send it along with a short essay describing why it is so special. The jury, made up of Garage director Anton Belov, Triennial curators, and S7 experts, will choose the best of the best.

The winner* will spend two nights in a five-star Moscow hotel, enjoy a dinner at Garage Café and an individual tour around the Triennial with one of the show’s curators.

More details and terms and conditions of the contest are available on S7 Airlines website.
