DESCRIPTION

This special Museum Night event will feature Alexander Tsypkin’s Writers feat. Actors. Public readings. The project combines literature and theater, aiming at the promotion and popularization of contemporary Russian prose. Visitors will hear texts written by Narine Abgaryan, Andrey Astvatsaturov, Alexander Borovsky, Alexander Malenkov, Alexander Snegirev, Masha Traub, Sasha Filipenko, and Aleksandr Tsypkin, united by the theme of the museum and the museum experience.

“We have never before picked a specific theme for the readings, but when I started to speak with authors about the project it turned out that everybody has their own real or imagined story about the museum. Night is the best time to tell them.”—says the project’s founder Alexander Tsypkin.

Visitors will get the chance to hear readings by authors Alexander Tsypkin, Masha Traub, and Sasha Filipenko, and by celebrities Maxim Matveev, Katerina Shpitsa and Polina Maksimova.
