Sasha Obukhova: The Year of 1995

The concluding lecture in the first part of the cycle reviews the "museumification" of the unofficial art, particularly the history of the first museum-based Russian contemporary art collection started by Andrey Erofeev at Tsaritsyno museum-reserve and currently housed at Tretyakov Gallery.

Admission is free.

Sasha Obukhova (born 1967) is an art historian and member of the Kandinsky Award expert board. She worked at Moscow Contemporary Art Institute, Tretyakov Gallery, and State Center for Contemporary Art. Since 2012 Sasha Obukhova has been heading Garage research department.
