Part 1—Such a romantic job: an art forger—presents stories about the notorious frauds and forgers in the art world and their criminal discovery.

Fakes and frauds for the sake of profit and fame; seeking revenge on art historians who ruined artistic career ambitions; arrogance, greed, and ordinary stupidity that destroyed smooth-running  “business.” Among the victims of fraud—major world museums, private collectors willing to remain incognito, art historians, and experts.

Viktoria Anisimova – art historian, art critic, antique consultant, author of articles on Italian Renaissance art, the antique market, and collecting; art director at ART V’U gallery.
