SPARE TIME. A SERIES OF MUSIC CONCERTS
Spare Time is conceived in four parts, each exploring the act of performance - in this instance, the performance of a musical piece - when either one person or a group of people are placed in a situation, orchestrated by a third person who provides them with a set of specific instructions that they must follow. The group may use different aleatoric systems - a form of free improvisation within a musical framework - in addition to techniques that involve ‘co-composing' between performers.
The series is curated by Dmitry Vlasic.
