Sergey Shutov

Art director of the cult film ASSA, Sergey Shutov pioneered new-media art and founded the Institute of Art Technology. Apart from creating video and sound installations, he was a seminal figure in the nascent Moscow club movement, known for introducing VJing (live visual art performance) during his sets at the legendary Ptuch club. The artist speaks about the spirit of the "wild 1990s," of which he was such a prominent representative.

Admission is free.
