The moderator of the meeting will be Katya Suverina, who has a PhD in Cultural Studies and is the editor of The Birth of the Soviet Woman.
She is a teacher and researcher in the field of gender and historical trauma. Participants will discuss how to perceive Soviet art and its «legacy», why it is important to study the history of female artists, and why art requires gender optics.
