DESCRIPTION

In this two-hour masterclass, mediator Sasha Ilyukhina will demonstrate how to express yourself in the sphere of graphic design and will explain the basics of using Figma.

Figma is a graphic online editor that can be used to create illustrations, presentations, layouts for sites, and animations 

The masterclass is designed for beginner users and for those who have not used Figma before but would like to create their own projects as a graphic designer. During the masterclass, each participant will learn to use the basic Figma tools and use them to make their own creative project, which can be shared with other participants at the end of the masterclass if desired.

Participants can discuss their emotional reactions and visual results in the second part of the masterclass.

The masterclass is part of the mediation program.

ABOUT THE MEDIATOR

Sasha Ilyukhina (b. 2000) is a Garage mediator, cultural studies specialist, art historian, and researcher. In 2022, she graduated from the Political Science Faculty of Moscow State University. She is currently studying on the Master’s program Digital Technologies in Culture (Cultural Studies, Philosophy Faculty, Moscow State University). She offers mediations in the World Gone By computer class based on discussions of video works from Garage Archive Collection.
