During Russian Film Night 2017, taking place on August 26 and 27, Garage will present Women’s Night, celebrating women and featuring Sally Potter’s cult film Orlando starring Tilda Swinton.
On August 26, the program opens with a screening of Mike Mills’s retro mumblecore film 20th Century Women (2016), nominated for an Oscar for Best Screenplay. It tells the story of three women of different ages living in 1970s’ California and stars two of the prominent actresses of American independent cinema, Annette Bening and Greta Gerwig.
