Description

Family Art Therapy Summer School
June 29, 2015 – July 5, 2015

Course length: 7 sessions
9:00 – 19:00
Garage Education Center

This course is open to practicing art therapists, psychologists, special education teachers, social workers and anyone interested in professional growth and developing their competence and skills in art therapy.

In recent years, interest in art therapy has enjoyed rapid growth. Family art-therapy courses are no longer an unusual form of therapy and an increasing number of clients with no previous experience in therapy are now turning to this form of practice. Parents taking their kids to art therapy groups to tackle challenging situations often turn to art therapy themselves.

Art-therapy professionals need to be able to explain the specificity, potential, and limits of their practice. For this reason, we have invited the best Russian and foreign experts in the field to share their experience at the Family Art Therapy Summer School. The main goals of the School are to promote professional growth, clarify methodology within the discipline, and provide art-therapy practitioners with new tools and techniques.

The seven-day programme includes lectures and workshops introducing participants to various family art-therapy techniques that have proved effective.

Upon completing the course participants will receive a certificate from the Russian Art Therapy Association.

Price: 50,000 rub.
Applicants will need to fill out a form and attend an interview.
