The fifth event of the series places the participants in the world of installations, explaining what an artistic gesture is.
Ask yourself: do I see the presence of an artist in the world around me? Can I notice it? Most people will probably answer “no.” The artist's gesture is often clandestine, unfamiliar, and deliberately uncreative. It is still possible to recognize artistic gesture, however, if one a priori accepts its existence. We—Ilya, Tanya, and Dina—are inviting you to learn together how to reveal it, and even try to reproduce it yourselves, without the help of acclaimed artists.
