Garage Museum of Contemporary Art invites hearing, deaf and hard of hearing children aged from 4 to 10 to drawing workshops, where they can help the Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone create his new installation for Garage Square.
In Spring 2017, a wall with children’s drawings will be erected along the museum façade. As Rondinone has asked in his video message to the kids, all drawings will feature a rainbow, which the artist considers a universal symbol of love, diversity, confidence, optimism and the joy of living. The workshop will be run by Stuart Mitchell, an artist from Rondinone’s team.
