Calling all budding comic book artists to come and learn about creating ‘cartoon stories' from expert French artist and comic book writer Christian Gine. Gine will be leading a workshop for children and adults who want to draw their own comics. This event has been supported by the French Embassy and the French Cultural Center in Moscow.
Christian Gine (b. 1947) is a French artist and comic book writer, whose works include the renowned post-apocalyptic dystopia Snow, written by Didier Convard; the futuristic saga Finkel and the action adventure Capitaine Sabre. Gine has worked in a variety of genres - from the humorous to the historical - in a career spanning over 40 years, developing a distinctive graphic style that has contributed to his reputation as one of Europe's leading comic book artists.
