Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and automobile brand Cadillac are delighted to announce their partnership for the exhibition Proof.

For over 100 years, Cadillac has been following its fundamental principles—to inspire and to impress.

Today, the brand is proud to declare the renaissance of the legendary American spirit of the company, through its new philosophy Dare Greatly—only those who dare, drive the world forward. Only those who are willing to accept risk, who have the courage to dare greatly, shape the future.

Featuring works by Francisco Goya (1746-1828), Sergei Eisenstein (1898-1948) and Robert Longo (1953-), Proof, which opens the Museum’s fall season, offers insight into the singularity of vision through which artists can reflect social, cultural, and political complexities of their times. Looking to innovation in technique and technology, each artist has worked across mediums—from traditional painting and engraving, to sculpture, film and performance—but all continuously turn to drawing as a primary tool to articulate ideas. Artist Robert Longo has created two drawings with one of the cult symbols of America—Cadillac.
