Presenting the best possible performance, new features, and full information about Garage activities—as well as more updates.

2015 has become a milestone in Garage history: in June we moved to our new home in Gorky Park, and this month we are moving to a brand-new website.

Our main goal in relaunching the site was to achieve a high degree of usability and performance to serve visitors’ needs, and ensure that the site is available on all mobile platforms.

The Visit section was completely redone and now contains not only information about the Museum’s diverse services and a detailed map, but also has comprehensive information for visitors with disabilities: there is a guide on applying for sign language tours, as well as one on getting drinking bowls for guide dogs.

The Calendar allows visitors to plan trips to exhibitions, lectures or workshops by purchasing single or season tickets for selected activities or educational programs. Filters now make using the Calendar even easier.

The website offers a new look at Garage Archive Collection, which is the largest collection of materials on Russian contemporary art processes from the late 1950s to the present day. The archive includes documentary footage on art history from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other Russian cities. All you have to do to discover Garage’s archives is fill out an online application form. In 2016, visitors to Garage’s website will be able to explore an online version of The Family Tree of Russian Contemporary Art

There is even more information about research initiatives, all the way from their launch to the present day, and there is a special section devoted to interviews, books reviews, and recent news.

Garage Team would like to thank Perushev & Khmelev Agency for help with website development, and Charmer Studio for design.
